Taishou found his forever home!

"She is doing great, The dogs play for hours every day. She will sit and stay while we get food for both dogs and put it into their bowls. She still likes to groom the cat as well."

Taishou is Sally-lou's 2nd rescue dog

" Taishou was chained to a tree with no dog house and no socialization.  Scared of everything, would hardly let people pet him.   Had already been given away once before I got him at 1 year of age.  His owners wanted  to take him to the pound , where he would probably be euthenized.  With love, and socialization and lots of walks, he is doing great. He is not even the same dog.

Abbey was also a rescue (see Memorials page) and scheduled to be put to sleep on a Saturday morning.  ARK (Akita Rescue)  Linda Lapossa got her on Friday night,  the night before she was scheduled to be euthenized.

I guess I'd just like people to know that there are alot of rescues out there that need homes  and can make wonderful dogs ."
